TAF Foundation, through its award-winning Vocational Training Institute (TAFF-VTI), works towards the economic empowerment of youth, especially women, by not only providing them free of cost vocational education & training but also by facilitating them in job placements at respectable, living income salaries.
The courses currently being offered at TAFF- VTI include, Customer Service & Retail Sales, Care-giving Assistant and Cooking & Housekeeping and are taught under the supervision of highly experienced and qualified faculty and management. The training provides a life-changing experience for the trainees as it not only gears them up to face the challenges of the professional world but also empowers them with legal and financial literacy that transforms them into productive and responsible citizens as well.
TAF Foundation, for the TAFF-VTI project won the PMI- KPC (Project Management Institute- Karachi Pakistan Chapter) Award for the Best Project in Community Advancement through Project Management in 2016.
TAFF- VTI is unique to other VTIs in that it not only trains and upskills marginalized youth from rural and urban slums but also secures placement for its graduates at premium salaries. The project is being executed with a collaborative approach by creating strategic alliances and engaging partners at each step of a well-defined process of design, implementation, sourcing, recruiting, training and placement.
